The Neuroscience and Behavior Research Unit at the California National Primate Research Center (CNPRC), UC Davis is to join our team to work on our womb-to-tomb neuroanatomy projects evaluating structural variation and plasticity of the “affective brain” and/or behavior projects tracking affective/social/cognitive development across the lifespan. This project is led by Dr. Eliza Bliss-Moreau, core scientist in Neuroscience and Behavior at the CNPRC and a faculty member in the UC Davis Department of Psychology. The postdoctoral position will be located in Davis, CA.
Successful execution of this project will involve carrying out laboratory based testing of animals, neuroanatomical/histological analyses, data analysis, and manuscript preparation.
The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to and be involved in all aspects of the research process, including the development of new directions for the research study design, protocol development, data collection, data processing, data analysis, as well as writing and publishing research reports and reviews. An important aspect of this position will be project management and coordination.
